06:52 pm - Wow it's been awhile
Sorry I've been away for so long.  I just haven't felt the urge to post.  Today, that urge changed so I'm going to post about some bands that I like.  Most of them are Cafe kids bands and just bands from my area that I know.

Enjoy!

http://www.myspace.com/manchagente  (local to the Bridgeport area... smooth latin jazz oooh nice!)
http://www.myspace.com/cosmicjibaros   (it isn't local music without the Jibaros.  Darian, Juan... some of the best musicians and great latin rock)
http://www.myspace.com/deepbananablackout  (needs no explaination)
http://www.myspace.com/frorocks (says he's from Brooklyn, but we all know of his Bport roots! Another Cafe buddy!)
http://www.myspace.com/larissadelorenzo  (yay for Larissa and B-dawg! Brendan plays guitar with Larissa and is one of my great friends give them love!)
http://www.myspace.com/dariancunning (Darian's solo stuff... so ridiculously talented!)
http://www.myspace.com/sk6ers (aw... Kellogg and the crew! who would have ever thought this Fairfielder would have made it so far... oh yeah... I forgot about another Fairfielder... John Mayer! I guess there's something in the water)
http://www.myspace.com/joebeleznay (aw Joe and I used to work at SHU, I never see him anymore!!! He's finishing up his new album soon though)
http://www.myspace.com/alternateroutes (oh to see how far they've come! It's so great! I remember playing songs with Eric in our elementary school auditorium and hanging out with his cousins in grade school!  Now they are big rock stars... they deserve everything they get!!)

I'm sure I'll think of more soon.  Until then! Talk to you all soon.

I'd like to invite you all to come over to Vox.  It's as if you blended myspace and livejournal (it's by the same people that do livejournal) it's very dynamic posting for your journal.  It's based around blogging and not the stupid member comments that myspace is focused.

I have a few invitations.  It's under invite only now and not officially launched.  Let me know!!

You Are Rowlf the Dog
Mellow and serious, you enjoy time alone cultivating your talents. You're a cool dog, and you always present a relaxed vibe. A talented pianist, you can play almost anything - especially songs by Beethoven. "My bark is worse than my bite, and my piano playing beats 'em both."

06:41 pm - I'm alive!!!!!!
Sorry it's been so long. I've been ridiculously busy with my new job over the past few months. I work my ass off but enjoy every single second of it. I have amazing and wonderful people at work who like to have a good time on the side.  These are the people that I would have been friends with in high school and college.  I'm quite the happy camper!

Ty and I are wonderful.  He just moved to Bethel (which is about 45 min away from me) but it's a cute town and I know the area b/c my father has worked up around the block from him for over 20 years and my aunt and uncle and grandfather live the next town over.  I still hate having my "morals" and not wanting to live with anyone before marriage.  It would be so easy to just get a cute little one bedroom in Stamford or Greenwich and start our lives together.  It'd be like one big sleepover! Still, who knows what could happen.  We could decide one day that we hate each other, and then have to deal with moving back home or getting another place.
nope
I'm saving my money thank you!

I haven't been getting to even a quarter of the shows that I would like to get to.  I do the whole "Alive at Five" in Stamford on Thursdays (drinking in the streets and Kevin Bacon... KICK ASS).  But other than that, I don't get to get out that much anymore.  I'm growing up... and it sucks!!

Had a great Boston weekend a few weeks ago for Molly's birthday.  Molly, Margaret, Nik, Ty and I squashed into a ghetto hotel in Boston.
It was gweaaaaaaaaaaat!

I'm planning a Providence / Newport trip for the end of this month.  I might do a Boston / RI thing with Molly the weekend that Ty will be away with his band on their "bonding" vacation in the Catskills.

Anyway... I'm alive and kickin' and doing great.  Now that I am forcing myself to come back into this world again (even for 30 min a day) I'm hoping you will all see much more of me.

12:57 am - BoMo
"Most importanly I left with the decisions I needed to meet my deadline. Sure I felt stupid for forgetting my pants, still I didn't let that keep me from making my day successful. I was having a bodacious moment, and if I can have a BoMo while forgetting my pants, then I'm sucessful."
